A sculptor and jewellery designer, Berao applies and adapts traditional jewellery techniques to create his own style.

In the seventies he started showing his creations in galleries and museums in Europe, soon making a name for himself in the high-end jewellery market. In 1982 he opened his first store in Madrid, followed by others in Barcelona, Valencia, San Sebastián and Ibiza.

Despite his success as a designer, he continues working with sculpture and painting, from which he borrows inspiration for his jewellery.
