Troughton & Simms was a British manufacturer of astronomical instruments, founded in 1826 by Edward Troughton and William Simms.

In 1915 it became a limited company and in 1922 it merged with T. Cooke & Sons to form Cooke, Troughton & Simms.

The new company manufactured hundreds of astronomical instruments, including telescopes, compasses, sextants and theodolites for observatories all over the world.
