Thomas Windmills (died 1737), the son of Joseph Windmills (1640-1724), was a master clockmaker since 1702 and member of the Guild of Clockmakers of London. In 1695 he was elected Warden of the Clockmakers Company and was named a master in 1719, and given charge of the maintenance of the clock of the Tower of London.
